The 1891 Dome is manufactured from a unique molding process using only the highest grade Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE).
The 1891 UHMWPE incorporates several unique material and design features, such as:
– The UHMWPE material is highly resistant to corrosive chemicals highly abrasion resistant
– Safety Cam Handle Style of the “Ball in Socket” design
– Tested to 36 PSI
– Exceeds DOT 178.345-5 specifications
– Meets 49CFR 178.347-3 Requirements for 407 Trailers
– Drip Lip in cover prevents product from spilling on trailer
– Stainless Steel and NI Plated Hardware
